Biography
Fitzgerald is an Associate at Kenna, currently completing his mandatory NYSC service year following his call to the Nigerian Bar in 2026. His work spans legal research, contract drafting, corporate financing due diligence, and case management, with active involvement in garnishee proceedings and client matters for banks, oil companies, and financial institutions.
As a newly qualified associate, Fitzgerald's focus at this stage is on building the practical foundation for his career, contributing diligently to case teams and developing the depth of experience from which future recognition and leadership roles will grow.

Handling garnishee proceedings and related case management as part of the litigation/dispute resolution team.
Supporting corporate financing due diligence and contract drafting for clients including banks and oil and gas companies.
Conducting due diligence reviews of loan agreements and security documentation for corporate financing deals ensuring alignment with Nigerian regulatory standards.
Drafting legal opinions, memoranda, and correspondence supporting senior associates on company formation, contract enforcement, and regulatory compliance matters.
Conducting legal research and organizing client matters across the firm's commercial and financial institution practice.
